What I’m Up To
TL;DR: THIS IS MY DECEMBER.
The Things:
House of the Dragon ain’t bad; however, I am still scarred from D&D’s tragic direction of Game of Thrones.
The Menu is a great movie that will 100% make you more aware of your manners when you eat at any restaurant.
That online store I have, but I am not paying attention to, grossed $6k. Yay.
I beat God of War Ragnarök - it’s the top game of 2022 for me and I’ve played quite a number of games this year.

Shout out to Aiden for introing me to Lynne. Hello you two.
One of my cats got spayed and finally doesn’t have to wear the cone of shame.
I JUST ORDERED GOOGLE FIBER. LFG!!!
Chick-fil-A has a merch store. (Thank’s Trent)
Helping Others Out:
This is like a classified ad section, but they didn’t ask me to do it.
Career Growth Coaching: Adam Barney is offering paid career growth coaching. First call is free. Alternatively, if you want to talk about ESG / Climate Tech, this is the guy.
Revenue Partnership: My dude Brennan Woodruff and his GoCharlie Content Marketing AI startup that I invested in is looking to partner with content creators, social media managers, content marketers, and companies with a need for any roles above. There are revenue deals to be had!
Upgrade Your Laptop! Are you looking for a MacBook Pro? A startup I know is liquidating assets - it has ~10-20 MacBook Pro 16 inch 2022 models for sale, originally ~$3,000, yours for $1,500. Comes with Apple care. DM me for deets. Also if you want iPhone 13 Pro’s on T-mobile, those are also for sale - take over the contract and it’s all yours.
Mental Health Survey: Brody Clemmer, a Product Manager at Koa Health, is doing a research project on Mental Health. Check out his survey here.
Tax CPA: A CPA I know is leaving her public accounting employer and finally starting her tax preparation, tax planning, and bookkeeping business. She does it for individuals, sole proprietors, partnerships, and corporations (S-Corps and C-Corps).
Do you need a suit? Check out Pelumi Oke. He makes super fly suits, especially for those of abnormal, foot-ball player builds. Check out his IG.
Sevilla
The place to go to be lazy.
If there were ever a town for you to “Recover” and “Recharge”, Sevilla is it. You don’t go to Sevilla to do a million things - you go to Sevilla to do the one thing: Tapas. The city is bustling during the day, but the true charm comes at night.
Word from the experienced: Avoid the tourist places which is anything that is offering “deals”, or has “sales-like wait staff” ushering you in and you’ll be fine. I got Paella from a Grandma from one of the restaurants using whatever Spanish I had (it’s not much) - it was a delight.

Granada
Come for the Alhambra, stay for the Moorish influence.
Granada is where you go to see the influence of Moorish culture intertwined into Spanish culture. There isn’t much to the city - it is small and hypothetically could be done in a day trip. I don’t recommend that. A two night stay to comfortably enjoy the tapas life, and to spend your day at the Alhambra - a beautiful castle complex that is incredibly well preserved - is needed. Plus, there’s an entire cave-people village called the Sacromonte within walking distance on the Northern side.
Tapas Tip: Go to any tapas restaurant and order only a drink (without looking at a menu). You’ll get free tapas (food) this way. Each drink ordered is another free tapa served.
Recommended Tapas place: Los Diamentes (fried seafood) and Om Kalsum (Moroccan).
Recommended dinner spot: Restaurante Fairuz (Lebanese).
You will not find anything online about these places. They are bangers.

Barcelona
The best organized massive city I’ve ever been to.
Barcelona is the best laid out metropolitan city I have ever been to, completely beating out Osaka, Tokyo, and all of the European and American cities I’ve visited.
Barcelona is a very cosmopolitan city and is distinctly different from the rest of the Iberian peninsula. What’s astonishing is how well it handles city traffic and pedestrian walkways, which is layered on top of a robust transit system, and topped off with a literal city-block to block design.
You come here to do what everyone wants to do in the city - be young, go to tapas bars, hit up endless amounts of architectures, and shop.
If you ask me what city you should go to when you visit Europe the first time, it is between Barcelona and Berlin. Do both! You can skip Paris and London.
Recommendations:
Eat at Honest Greens (exponentially better than Tender Greens USA).
Get a resy at :)is Fru tar (waitlist your way to all the other top restaurants)
Get the night started with tapas at Cerveceria Catalana

Happy December!
I usually admire folk's europe travel pics and memoirs, but Ive never before felt the urge to literally book a flight. Spain and Barcelona esp. Seem more my speed, and your descriptions are wonderful. Europe, it is! For my next big trip 😍
