Hello there!
After my August hiatus, I’m back.
Here’s what you need to know:
Professional Curiosity is a great monicker that represented my career break and beginning stages of the next professional frontiers. It was some effort in the beginning, and I enjoyed the ease that came to me over time.
The theme is no longer serving me as I am encountering a dry up in the well of topics, and it’s shifted to an intense burden. I dreaded Wednesdays posting, and while I could rehash old things, that’s not me.
Now that the theme is no longer serving me, I will be changing the direction.
What I’ve Been Up To
The Things
It’s been two months since I posted. So what have I been up to?
IRS Crypto Staking Revenue ruling has been a charming part of my professional life these days.
LinkedIn now has “AI Generated Messages” which well, I haven’t posted in LinkedIn for a while so I don’t know what I’m complaining about.
Saw Taylor Swift at Sofi stadium on August 3rd via Capital One VIP seats. ‘twas awesome.
Saw Oppenheimer in 70mm Imax on August 26. 3 hours of solid good ness.
Foundation Season 2, episode 9 - HYPE.
And more importantly, Star Trek Lower Decks hype!
Hosted a Pizza making day using an Ooni oven gifted by E & S.
After a bit of deal hunting, I have finally built my new, PS5-sized PC. Here’s the part list. I can finally go back and play Starcraft 2 Coop, Baldurs Gate 3, and what I assume to be the bug filled Starfield.
I enjoy and stressed test the performance of an Away bag, more so than I would expect out of a travel bag. It’s pricey, but I’ve gone through more bags across 5 years that well exceed the cost of 1 bag (European Cobblestones can break a bag easy).
While working remotely is great, I need in-person network building. So I found my way at the OC Startup Council events and heard pitches, and gave feedback.
Good to have you back!
welcome back!
